Rapid urbanization is increasing disaster risks in Ethiopia. Parts of Ethiopia are located on top of a dangerous earthquake zone. However, construction standards, a lack of building and fire codes and, poor code enforcement put a number of Ethiopian cities at great risk. This video is designed to alert Ethiopian officials and relevant industry experts to the needs of better disaster preparation.
